FNWF was a date with Feathered Goose and quilting

Hello FNWF!  How was your weekend?  Mine was pretty good! I got a lot done, heard some good news as well as some bad news.

A few more Feathered Goose blocks were made.  The hardest blocks are completed.

I did a little bit of machine quilting.  This is the whole quilt.  I call it my memory round robin because I made one of each of these blocks for someone else's quilt that year while making one for myself as a memory.

This section is done.

I even went to the races.  Hubby took 4th!  This photo was taken at the house before we left.

D2, SIL2, and 2 grands were in attendance.  I managed to get a picture of this little cutie.
We BBQed and had a nice time.  He loved playing in the dirt and was covered head to toe by the time we went home.

His sister wanted to be with Grandpa!

Good News:  One of the twins is coming home today!  Yay!  I finally get to meet him!

Bad News:  My son who is living in another state is very very sick with Covid19 symptoms.  He was tested yesterday...no results yet.  Luckily we have not been with him for 3-4 weeks.

  5. Sending prayers for your son. It’s good that you haven’t been around him, but it’s hard to be sick and not have Mom to care for you! I’m so glad to hear the twin is finally coming home. Baby snuggles ahead!

That Feathered Geese quilt is going to be amazing. Those blocks look so complicated. The Memory quilt is a great idea. Cute too.

I’ll bet that little one was every bit as cute covered in dirt.
