NDC Progress Linkup and a Row Along!

How has your NDC project been coming along for May?  While I have been sewing some every day while taking care of two littles, I have not started it yet.  What I have done is finish my design, pattern, and row for the "It's a Garden Party" Row-along coming Fall 2020.  Here is a teaser as I cannot show you the entire row.

Check out the galleries from previous Row Alongs at this link!  Each row is designed by a different designer, so it will be fun for me to see how my quilt turns out.  I will receive the other designer's patterns in a couple of weeks and begin making my other rows to show on my reveal day.

I also completely finished my Arizona top!  Yay!  It is now hanging in the closet with other tops ready to baste and quilt.  This was also my One Monthly Goal that didn't get done in April.  Catching up feels great.

I have a few days left to sew on my NDC which is a not-so-easy bag.  Perhaps I will still get it close to finished.  This shows that it is cut out.

This is what it will become.

The kids went back to Mommy and Daddy yesterday, so that gives me a day to sew before heading over the mountain to watch them from a hotel room for a few days so they can be close to their mom (not fun).  Daughter and I live a few hours from the hospital.  One baby will be able to start nursing this week and is expected to be released a month or two sooner than the other.  This means I will get to stay with the  healthy baby outside the hospital while she goes back and forth between the twins.  It is all crazy, but we are thankful babies made it here safely.

I is a little puffy and pale from surgery but is doing well considering all he has gone through. D is doing great.

I am linking up my progress today with:

  1. Best wishes for those babies! Such cuties. I was able to get my challenge project done before the last day of the month this time. LOL I knew I wouldn't be able to start quilting it on the last day and get it done, no way!

  3. It’s such a joy it is to see the little guys and read how well they are doing. So thrilled for everyone.

That bag does look like quite a challenge. Cutting all the pieces is half the battle. LOVE the Arizona finish. That is a real treasure.

  6. Hi,
My UFO for June is my ABC Quilt...the top is done, sandwiched and I finished
tying it last night. Now all it needs is the binding. Hope to get this one done this month. On my list...ABC Quilt is # 1, I switched them around this month as I had already started working on this one this month. Hope that's ok..have a great day!
