Deana: Another NYB complete!

I am so surprised at how much I have loved making these blocks.  I like that I can measure the pieces, cut a strip to fit, and go to town on these babies.  Random paper piecing where every piece is different is less enjoyable to me.  These blocks make me want to make more right away.  Thank you Marie for encouraging me to get rolling on this one!  I am truly having so much fun!

Two down and 50 to go.

  1. Give them a good steam press, place a square ruler on the top until it cools then trim to size. It will be perfect. Looks lovely

  2. This looks great! I don't like paper piecing, partly because of the problem you mentioned, but maybe I should try it. It makes sense that if the block has a lot of repeats, then I will be able to figure out what size to cut the shapes.

  3. Beautiful blocks! But oh so intricate.
