Deana: a church or two

I have a small amount of progress to report.  I pieced the units on the churches last week and need two more to complete them. They would have been done except I was missing the copies I needed.

The sky fabric was out of stock, which made me a little nervous about doing these, but it has been restocked and is ordered and on its way.  Whew!  I'm glad that worked out.

I spent the weekend at my daughter's house playing with my 8 month old grand daughter.  It was relaxing and so fun.  She is crawling around and waving now.  She is so tiny and has the cutest little girly voice to go with her small body.  She likes to think she is singing with music and dances as well.

In between playing with the baby, I was able to get a little bit more stitching in on my house for "Pieceful Country".  It is really gaining character.

  2. Sounds like fun playing with your grand daughter. How lucky are you to be able to get the same fabric...

  3. Fun times :) I don't have grandkids yet, and I just had the thought that it may be quite likely that they'll be out of state when they do arrive. I am going to open a new CD savings account today to make monthy payments into that will be available in years to come for lots of trips to go see them or bring them to me! (And I love the way the block is emerging)
