Revisiting 2020

Much good did come out of 2020 for me as well as decent goal progress.

1. I became a grandmother to two sweet twin boys. I am grateful for their good health and the many miracles from my Heavenly Father that brought them here amongst challenges to their health in the womb and one little guy's surgeries and struggles for four months after birth.

They are good good good babies who bring us joy and remind us how close Heaven really is.

2. I learned a little about rock climbing this year and loved it!

3. I finished 11 quilts/projects. They are stacked here minus two that found new homes.

Princess Stars

Alaska

Nash's Trucks

2 Barnyard quilts

Travel bag - on top of the pile below

Block Lotto

School Kid Barns

Periwinkle

Orange Round Robin

Trail Mix

4. I made progress on eleven other quilts and made 70 masks. I will feature photos in another post.

Feathered Goose - finished the main units

Black Round robin memory - assembled the top

Arizona - assembled the top and backing

Disney Princesses- made Rapunzel

NYB- assembled the top

Country Barnyard- finished the top

Dear Jane - some quilting

Tom Turkey - finished glue basting borders and fused/blanket stitched stars

Oh Mygosh - cutting

5. I made new groups of quilty friends from joining I Like Thursday and Chooky's zoom parties.

  5. You really had a great sewing year, but the two little ones are the greatest joys of 2020. The many prayers they received were rewarded by that precious picture.

  6. Such a fun group of quilts. I can't pick a favorite from last year. Double Trouble looks to be right for those twins. One looks so serious and the other looks to be grinning himself out of trouble. Have a great 2021.
