Day 2 in Australia

 We had a nice visit with B and enjoyed a tour of her gardens before heading out.




Next stop was Maddens Falls. The hike was short and easy, and we had it all to ourselves. It did involve a nice, cool wade.










Next, we were off to see a kuala. We were fortunate to see one awake.

A little girl insisted in joining our photograph.

I love Cactus, so the next stop was Wollongong Botanical Garden.  I had seen there was a nice Cactus garden there.



We have Prickly Pear Cactus at home, but these are MASSIVE!




There were also interesting trees trunks.



Next stop was Kiama Blow Hole and lighthouse...





We mostly loved watching the waves brake on the rocks.

    Another wonderful day touring around, so good to see the koala and the blowhole! That little girl knows a grandmother when she sees one! Those cactus grow wild not far from us. Good to see you gave the tree a hug.
