Friday Night with Friends quilty progress - yay!

A productive weekend happened here.

Justin's Medallion is basted, off the frames, and tucked away in the Cedar Chest to await its turn for quilting.

A new start called Windmill happened here as well.  It is my own pattern.  My cousin Marie is doing this one with me virtually.  I made one for each of my daughters for their weddings, but have not made one for myself yet.  This one, though will likely be for my son's wedding some day.  I LOVE making this quilt!  It goes together pretty fast too.

More Masterpiece blocks were stitched as well.  I have 24 to date.  Once I peel off the paper, I will get a photo of all of them together.

I also have my New York Beauty on its way.  I pieced a back, loaded it on the frames, and have it half-way basted.  I hope to have this as a complete finish by the end of the month.

Today's linky parties include:

Can I get a Whoop Whoop?

  2. These are all so gorgeous! I’ll enjoy watching Windmill progress. The Masterpiece blocks are breathtaking. New York Beauty is a favorite of mine. I’ve never met one that I didn’t just love. I’m thinking I might have to move one onto my list. I made one when I was still fairly new to quilting. It was hand-pieced, but tied. I’ve used it for 20 years, and it’s beginning to show some wear. Thanks so much for the inspiration!
