I Like Thursday #16

I Like Thursday is here once again.  It gives me the opportunity to post some happy thoughts from my previous week.  Thank you Leeanna for the weekly "I Like Thursday" adventures.  Check out others positive posts here.

I like spending time with Family and getting the tree.  We always go cut a tree, and we take the horses.  There was no snow this year (frowny face).  In fact, we overdressed and got hot.

We came back to the house after for soup, homemade rolls, and crafting.  We put up the tree, drank home made hot cyder, and listened to Christmas music.  It was fantastic.  I made the snowman candle, and my daughter made the rock nativity.

Oh, and an announcement was made that we will be getting our 7th grand in 2021.  Wowzer!  Seven in 4 years.  They have multiplied quickly and I love it!

  1. Cutting a real tree brings back lots of memories! Congratulations on the newest addition! Seven grands! How wonderful! We have 4 grownup grandchildren and now 4 great grands with the possibility of a couple more, our youngest granddaughter is newly engaged, no wedding plans, due to COVID. But it will happen.

  7. Looks like getting a tree is an adventure. What fun! That rock nativity is cool. That's a lot of grandkids in a short time. They'll run like a pack as they get older (I was envious of my younger cousins that did that).
