Pieceful Country is about ready to be assembled.

I have spent the past two evenings after work trying to decide on a layout for my Pieceful Country Quilt.  While I have not yet decided, I have narrowed it down.

Number 2 is my favorite.  I made the houses earlier than the group because I really wanted them in the quilt, and I have enough blocks to start assembly.  Check out the other quilts at Humble Quilts.

  3. I really like your version. The middle one is my favorite, but any of them will be just right.

  4. Whichever layout you choose, this quilt will be stunning! Such a beautiful sampler, and you did a great job of balancing the color palette throughout all of the blocks to give you layout options like this. I would tend to have a few blocks that needed to be kept away from one another for balance -- like the handful of rowdy kids who can't sit together in the classroom without being disruptive! :-)

  5. It's a hard decision but you will know it when you look at it. The moment it pops you'll say THATS IT... Great designing...

  7. I love, love, love how this one is turning out! The houses were a great call for it. I'm really digging that second layout, too.

  9. adorable, every linky party I have enjoyed watching your quilt grow, I wondered why you were sewing along with us and doing completely different blocks but I guess you took the inspiration and ran in your own direction. This is one sweet quilt and all your own design, congratulations! Happy Sewing
