Justin's Medallion is a flimsy!

My March One Monthly Goal is done!  I can't express enough how happy I am to have this time consuming top done! It is a pattern my son requested or I would have made something else for him. I do love it but oh the work involved.   He is currently serving a two year church mission in Germany and returns thus July.  I wanted this and one other done before his return. I am half way there .

I also made and rolled up the binding and pieced the back.  It is hanging in the closet until I put it on the frames to baste for quilting. I feel like hung quilt tops and backs need less pressing than folded ones.  Pressing large quilts is not fun to me.

  4. Deana! You are a whiz-bang!! I can't believe that you got this finished, but ALSO prepped the binding and made the back! It probably helps to have that goal of finishing in time for his return. Your accomplishment here is very inspirational, and now I'm going to try to crash through the finish of my Fancy Forest for a Q1 count, after all. Thanks for the boost. :) P.S. This looks fabulous in his colors.
