Deana: a little sewing this week

I have done a little bit of sewing this week. I got a good start on this baby blanket for my daughter.  She wants to do her baby's room in jeeps.  I have cut out one jeep so far - very time consuming.  It is not yet fused because I will have to cut them all out to choose where they will go.

I crocheted around the edges of two baby blankets and one burp cloth.  One of them I pieced in large squares.

Happy Sewing!

  1. You are certainly keeping busy, your jeeps are lovely and not at all what I pictured when I read your blurb about the baby's room. Thanks for linking to Sew, Stitch, Snap, Share.

  2. Good Morning,
It looks like you only have 11 more Jeeps to go! My niece is expecting and she wants elephants - not as many parts as your Jeeps. ~smile~

  3. That jeep quilt will be really cute when it is finished. You are a wonderful person to do all that work. Love the burp cloths and the baby covers. I love the quilts in your header. What is the name of that pattern? I suppose you get asked that all the time. Thanks.

  4. Can you give me the name of the pattern that you have on your header? Who made the quilt? It looks like a mixture of a wedding ring and other blocks.

  7. Wow are you busy! So many cute things...I agree that those jeeps are probably very tedious to make but wow, what impact! And of course they'll look adorable in the baby's room. Can't wait to see the final placement. I'm betting this one is going to be over the top adorable!
