Deana: Barns Quilted and my family loves me!

Look what I got in the mail this week!  My Sister Tracy made this for my daughter's wedding.  It is only the center, but she also cut and organized the rest of the quilt by sending it out to family members to piece.  Thank you Ann and Mom for doing so much work too!  My sisters, mom, and I will get together this week over fall break to finish it.  It is for my daughter who is getting married in mid December.  I could never have done it on my own and am so thankful to my sister and family for their loving help.  I should have a quilt top to show by the end of the week.  I hope to get it quilted and bound in time for the wedding.

I designed this quilt pattern for my other daughter's wedding which was in May.  I named it Jessi's Medallion for her, so I guess this one could be Jolynn's Medallion.  My son loves it too, so I will be making another one when he gets married someday.

Here is Jessi's quilt to let you see what the brown one will look like finished.

Also, I got my daughter's other wedding quilt quilted Saturday.  It only needs a binding - yay!  I did a simple and fast job of it since I am running out of time.

Now if I can just get the wedding finalized and keep up with my busy work schedule.

And I LOVE the barns. It really turned out cute, and so appropriate for Jolynn!
Hopefully Justin will give you a little more notice before he gets married, so you will have more time to get it together.
