Deana: Machine quilting, binding, and flowering snowball

I have been busy today.  First off, I have completed almost all of the "in the ditch" quilting on this quilt.  I  am now learning how to use ruler work with my new Juki.  It is slow going because I am learning but I think I am going to really like it.

I also made more flowering snowball blocks and have a couple more pinned and ready to sew.

I attached the binding to my Hexagon Pleasure Quilt.  It is awaiting hand work to finish it off.

I am linking up tonight with:

  1. Your quilts are beautiful. I especially like the flowery snowball. Curves are something I haven't tackled yet, but keep seeing quilts with curves that I love. Yours is gorgeous.

  6. Deanna, I really love your flowering snowballs and how they are looking all together. Such pretty color play and movement. (I'm having a blast going back through the linkups at BOMs Away now that the wedding and things have played out). And how fun to have that Juki!

  7. I love the colors of the quilt in the first pictures. Your choices of fabric resulted into something that looks warm, rich and sophisticated. And I love black with beige. I'm really looking forward to seeing more of this top. I wish you a great week!

Ruler work seems like it will be a lot of fun once you get it mastered.
Sure do love those projects, especially all the colors and scraps in your flowering snowball!
