Crazy Horse Monument Visitor's Center

These quilts were on display at the visitor's center. The 1st 4 are behind a glassed in area, so there is a glare. The notation indicates they are Lakota Indian quilts.
This one looked like it was made of satin. They are very beautiful star quilts.

This one is the depiction of what the mountain will look like when completed.
These were for sale in the gift shop. I liked the Christmas designs, but the green and yellow one was equally beautiful. These are all hand-made by the Native Americans.

  1. Ann, is this monument near Mount Rushmore? I think I've heard of it if it is. Thanks for sharing our photos of the museum.
